- Install the Instagram app from the google play store or app store on your device.
- Launch the app and enter the login credentials namely your username and your password.
- The app will open up to show your home page and your previous posts.
In case the above-mentioned steps are of no help to you will have to contact Instagram support. On reaching the Instagram support page you will be asked various questions and the Instagram team will email you some instructions.
The following will be asked once you reach the “My Instagram account has been deactivated” page:
Is this account used to represent a business, product or service? (A form will open once you answer this question), Full Name (Exact name provided on the account should be given), Instagram Username, Email Id, Which country are you contacting us from?
After submission, Instagram will contact you within the next 48 hours with a code and some instructions for you to follow.
The instructions are the following:-
- On an A4 sheet or any white paper write down the code that was sent to your email, your full name and your Instagram username.
- Take a picture while holding that paper. Please make sure that the picture is clear and the information written on the paper is clear.
- Attach this to your mail and send it to Instagram support for verification.
Instagram will restore your account within 2-3 days. A link will be sent to your mail to restore your account.
