WhatsApp is one of the world’s top social media messaging platforms, with nearly three billion monthly active users. Almost everyone you’ll ever meet will have a WhatsApp account. It’s one of the best ways to converse with your close friends and family. While Instagram and Snapchat are also high on the list of the apps teenagers prefer to use, WhatsApp is on a different level altogether due to its security and legitimacy.
The fact that only those who have your phone number can contact you here is oddly comforting to most users.
You can create groups to better sort your friends and family and acquaintances and classmates, which even sounds tidy. Since the feature was introduced on the platform, WhatsApp has rolled out countless updates to tweak it to the users’ convenience.
For example, users first wanted to be added to groups but soon realized the incessant daily notifications were not ideal. To help those users, WhatsApp added an option to mute group chats so that you won’t have to listen to your phone buzzing all day.
In today’s blog, we’ll talk about whether or not you can see the number of times someone has viewed your status on WhatsApp. To learn all about it, stick with us until the end!
Can You See How Many Times Someone Viewed Your WhatsApp Status?
WhatsApp statuses are arguably the most fun part of the platform. It’s a widespread feature on Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram to help people update their friends and family about their day-to-day life.
You can watch someone’s story on WhatsApp as often as you’d like; the other person won’t be able to find out. You can even take a screenshot of someone’s WhatsApp status without letting them know, unlike on Snapchat.
All you can see is the exact time someone sees your WhatsApp status. There’s no option or feature on WhatsApp that’ll let you know how many times someone viewed your WhatsApp status.
If you’re a new user on WhatsApp or haven’t used the status feature before, don’t worry; we’re here to help you.

Step 2: The first screen you’ll land on is your Chats page. At the top, right under the WhatsApp banner, you’ll see three tabs: Chats, Status, and Calls. Tap on the second tab.
Step 3: Here, you’ll be able to see the statuses of all your contacts if they’ve chosen to share them with you. At the top of the list, you’ll see an option called Add status. Tap on it.
Step 4: You’ll be directed to the WhatsApp camera. Here, you can click the picture you wish to upload or swipe up to see your gallery.
Step 5: After clicking a picture or selecting one from your gallery, you’ll get the option to edit it. You can crop the picture, add a sticker, text, or freehand scribble.
Step 6: At the bottom, you’ll see a keyboard with which you can caption the picture. Tap the green arrow icon at the top right corner, and your status has been uploaded!
