TikTok is one of the world’s most popular social media platforms today, and it also happens to be one of the most controversial platforms. Well, looks like you can’t have it both ways, right? Is it Possible to See Who I Am Following on TikTok?
Let’s get to the main topic: How do you check who you’re following on TikTok?
Let’s say you’ve just signed up on TikTok and love what the platform offers.
From influencers and celebrities to teenagers and business owners, everyone brings something unique to the proverbial table.
You can see anything here, from fitness, humor, cooking, dances, trends, fashion, entertainment, celebrity gossip, fan theories, and fictional ships to informative videos on almost every topic.
Excited to see everything, you’ve accidentally followed many content creators and now realize that some of their content doesn’t align with your thoughts. Going to their profile and unfollowing them one by one is probably not ideal for you, right?
Well, don’t you worry; we’ve got the solution right here for you.
Here’s how to see who you’re following on TikTok
Step 1: Launch TikTok on your smartphone and log in to your account.
Step 2: The first page you see is your For you page, commonly referred to as simply fyp. It contains all the videos the algorithm thinks you’re interested in, as you’ve liked similar content in the past.
At the bottom of the page, locate five icons. Tap on the icon at the bottom right corner of the screen called Profile.
Step 3: This will take you to your TikTok profile. Right under your profile picture, you’ll see your number of following, followers, and likes. Tap on the number of people you’re following.
Step 4: This will take you to the list of people you’re following. You can choose to unfollow them by simply tapping on the white Following button right next to their usernames.
How to switch to the Following tab?
Are you wondering how to see the content of the creators you follow? Because we understand how it can be problematic to open a creator’s profile every time you want to see their videos.
TikTok has two Home feeds, one with content similar to what you’ve liked in the past and the other with the content of the creators you follow. See how confusing that is?
However, don’t worry; it’s really easy to switch tabs.
All you need is to go to your fyp, and at the top of the screen, you’ll see a tab called Following.
Tap on it, and you’ll be able to see the content of your favorite creators!
